"The Alchemist" is a piece that portrays a female hiding herself as an alchemist because her curiosity won't let her stay away. With burning ash flying around in the air. The burning ash was not originally planned but happened because I dropped my charcoal covered pencil eraser. Wouldn't erase off. Then proceeded to do it over & over again then ended up loving it.
This piece was made with only charcoal pencils.
